Teddy Swims Levels Up with Surprise Tracks on 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1.5) '

  • 2 min read

Chart-topping powerhouse Teddy Swims continues his meteoric rise, surprising fans with four brand new tracks bolted onto a deluxe version of his acclaimed album 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy' – now titled 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1.5)'. The project, out now via Warner Records, includes his undeniable smash 'Lose Control', a recent Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper that continues to conquer radio and streaming platforms.

This unexpected drop showcases Swims' versatility. Tracks like 'Hammer to the Heart' bring soaring, stadium-sized choruses, while the alt-tinged 'Tell Me' offers a haunting exploration of heartbreak. Swims also dips into vintage soul with 'Apple Juice', delivering the kind of throwback magic the singer has become known for. The stark acoustic ballad 'Growing Up Is Getting Old' shines a spotlight on his raw, magnetic vocals.

"This is an extension of the album, just me being honest," Swims explains. "I've been touring, writing, and working on myself non-stop, and I wanted to share a real-life check-in. These songs represent where I'm at, and I didn't want to wait."

His hard work is evident. Fresh off an 'American Idol' performance of "Lose Control" and a striking new video for 'The Door', Swims is currently blazing through a sold-out UK and European tour. His journey will soon take him down under for arena headlining debuts in Australia and New Zealand before venturing into Asia. This whirlwind culminates in stateside festival appearances at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.

Swims' ascent to global stardom is a testament to years of patient dedication. His career began with online covers in 2019, rapidly gaining millions of fans and leading to collaborations with some of music's biggest names. A series of well-received EPs cemented his talent, building anticipation for 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)' in 2023 and its subsequent live album in 2024.
