Kate Hudson announces life-embracing debut album 'Glorious' along with new single 'Gonna Find Out'

After a year of meticulous crafting, Kate Hudson is ready to reveal her debut album, the aptly named 'Glorious', on May 17th this year. The journey for the Academy Award-nominated actress has been one of self-discovery, with Kate working hard to create an authentic and personal offering.

“I’d say it doesn’t seem real,” says the Academy Award nominated actress, “But the truth is: this is realer to me than anything I’ve done in my entire life. It was always this, I just needed to get to a place where I was ready... and the songs got to the core of who I am.”

Early singles 'Talk About Love', its Party Pupils remix, and the acoustic 'Live Forever' have offered listeners a glimpse into what 'Glorious' has to offer. Now, BBC Radio 2 has premiered the guitar-driven 'Gonna Find Out', a sultry exploration of desire.

Recorded independently, 'Glorious' sees Hudson collaborating with Danny Fujikawa, Johan Carlsson, and Linda Perry, crafting a fresh yet familiar sound. It reflects her deep, lifelong love of music and sets a high bar for the woman she aims to become. "I wanted something that was sexy and delicious, vulnerable and strong, willing and fearless - and especially gloriously in love with the way life takes you on this journey if you'll just show up and be open," she reveals.

Distributed by Virgin Music, who are known for supporting visionaries like Lenny Kravitz, Florence + the Machine, and the Rolling Stones, Hudson will celebrate 'Glorious' with a ticketed show at the Los Angeles independent venue Bellwether.

While known for her on-screen presence, Hudson now emerges as a songwriter, singer, and diva. 'Glorious' isn't just a project; it's a culmination of her passion. Through music, she captures the drama of life, the search for love, and the yearning for connection.
