Gold Coast's own singer-songwriter, bella amor, is set to captivate listeners with the release of her highly anticipated debut EP, 'this is where i'm at', dropping on August 1st. To mark this exciting announcement, fans can now dive into her empowering new single, 'daisyfields', alongside news of her first headline tour this August.
'daisyfields' effortlessly blends angelic vocals with a vibrant, rhythmic energy, showcasing the trademark warmth, confidence, and sheer charisma that has endeared bella to her growing fanbase. Speaking on the track, bella shared, "some days you feel like the ultimate boss and this song is capturing that feeling. i wrote this song with Demi Louise and Alice Ivy, which is so fitting because when i am around them i feel like i am invincible. they really helped bring out the boss girl in me." This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the track's uplifting vibe, making it an instant anthem for self-assurance.
The upcoming EP, 'this is where i'm at', promises to be bella at her most vulnerable and authentic. Known for her honesty, bella delves into the spectrum of emotions that accompany the journey of falling in and out of love. "this is where i'm at is exactly that. my life," bella explains. "it's an auditory journal of my feelings and what i've been through the past couple of years. it signifies the ups and downs in life, falling in and out of love, and the insecurities i face. i love all these songs and i hope you have fun seeing inside my brain and my world."
The EP boasts a compelling mix of collaborations, with Chris Collins producing 'simon says', 'couch', and 'basement', and Alice Ivy lending her touch to 'white rabbit', 'daisyfields', and 'rocks in my pocket'. bella notes the distinct creative energies of her producers: "when i work with Chris i generally reflect a lot about my life and tend to write from a place of deep thought, whereas when i’m with Alice Ivy, i come from a place of pure excitement and write from a place of sheer enjoyment."
Having already turned heads with her "one to watch" status, cemented by a sold-out debut headline show in the Gold Coast in 2022, bella has graced stages at major festivals like BIGSOUND, Grapevine Gathering, and Groovin’ The Moo. She's also supported esteemed acts such as King Stingray and Lime Cordiale, and kicked off 2025 by supporting global sensation Benson Boone on his Australian tour.
