Practically raised with a guitar in his hand, Indian born singer, songwriter and guitarist, Gaman Mamidi has been busily carving out his own sound and professional career at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. An artist who looks pair catchy music with comedic elements, he’s currently celebrating this year’s end with the release of his first three-track EP ‘Soul Daddy’.
Throughout ‘Soul Daddy’, you can expect to hear a myriad of genres, particularly Funk, Soul and Blues, with a peppering of Rock and RnB throughout. With the strong catchy beat paired with comedic, unapologetic lyrics and a healthy dose of cussing, you can expect to see a lot more coming from Gaman as he perfects his sound.
Title track ‘Soul Daddy’ is a song for toxic one-night stands, and the words you wish you could say out loud without remorse. Gaman superbly demonstrates his skills as a singer-songwriter on this track, injecting confidence into the future of career and justifiably securing a good level of hype on the release of this first EP.
