Shardil Ahmad, known to his fans and the wider world as Sharoo, entered into the world of hip-hop and rap in 2017. A late start to his music career certainly hasn’t held Sharoo back, and since his start he’s quickly made ground, focusing solely on building himself as an artist and refining his style, striving hard to earn himself a place as one of the best new rappers.
Although born in the USA, Sharoo was raised on the streets of Dubai. It was there that he first fell in love with rap music, and where he would first develop his now trademark sound. In 2016, he made the move back the America with hopes of pursuing his twin-dreams of becoming a rapper and physician.
Currently, Sharoo is hard at work on both dreams, studying as a junior at Wake Forest University while also creating contemporary rap anthems like ‘Hydroplane’.
A stunning new track, ‘Hydroplane’ shows the vision that Sharoo has for his work. It’s a track that is able to consciously and positively impact the lives of its listeners, engaging with them on a personal level while also packing in plenty of entertainment. Check out the track above.
