An honest voice sticking in the ear with a penchant for heavy rock anthems, Krister Tofteberg might be a late blooming artist, but also a brilliantly talented one. Arriving on the music scene with a sound that hits hard and flows with an immediate rock charm, his work is a refreshing mix of classic sounds and contemporary styles.
Released only a few days ago, Tofteberg’s new single is a song built to impress. Titled ‘Hands Burned’, it’s a visceral introduction to the artist's sound, one that hints at big things to come. Originally from Sarpsborg, Norway, Tofteberg moved to Jæren in 2001 where he really took to the music scene. Ever since, he has been an active member of the local scene, playing gigs as both a solo artist and band member.
Now, Tofteberg’s focus has grown to be his budding solo work, with the artist looking to refine his sound and build his audience. He sings with empathy and nerve, instilling each track and lyric with a real sense of passion and power. It’s this emotive brilliance that gives his work credibility and soul, and it’s this very magic that makes ‘Hand Burned’ so brilliant.
The first of hopefully many singles, Tofteberg is set on bringing his sound to the world, and we’re proud to help in any way we can.
