The talented Utah siblings of Ammon and Liahona Olayan have been enjoying huge success of late, building momentum with successful solo projects and a joint album that is scheduled to be released shortly. To celebrate, the brilliant duo is staging a new concert at the Covey Center for the Arts, which will be happening on Wednesday, the 27th of October 2021.
After first rising to prominence on American Idol where they performed their original song, ‘Listen To My Heart’, which drew praise from all judges, including Katy Perry who said, “You are talented beyond belief, incredible songwriters, like should be signed right now!”, Ammon and Liahona have continued to impress, and their new show promises to be one of their best yet.
With just their suitcases and desire to be free from the busy world, the Olayan family went from the big city of Utah to Hawaii, living in a tent, near homeless, with no electricity, no beds, or television, no music, no school, or sports, to showering with a water hose. “We raised chickens, goats, ate fruits from the land, fished and spent lots of time together.” I never knew how much my life would change,” admits Ammon. Despite their hardships, the time proved to be a wise decision, and they went through something to get to something, their raw talents revealed themselves, in the midst of change.
The new concert is set to take place at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, the 27th of October 2021 at the Covey Center for the Arts, and tickets are available now via the Covey Center’s website.
