Amity Affliction Unleash Raw Emotion with 'All That I Remember'

The Amity Affliction are kicking off the latter half of 2025 with a bang, dropping their brand new single, 'All That I Remember'. With a packed touring schedule ahead, including stints across North America, Europe, and the UK, this track is a powerful statement from the legendary metalcore outfit.

The Amity Affliction have always been masters at navigating the darker corners of the human experience, and 'All That I Remember' is no exception. This song invites listeners into a deeply personal reflection, resonating with a haunting echo. Lyrically, it delves into the painful memories of a broken relationship with a parent. Frontman Joel Birch doesn't hold back, explaining, "My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off; she died as she lived, paranoid and alone."

Joel's siblings also offer their own poignant insights. His brother Beau shares, "Time and again, our mother showed us that she would put herself first, and use life’s pain to justify her actions of self-interests - while we were left to fend for ourselves." Sister Chanel echoes this sentiment, adding, "This song reminds me how she would pit us against each other constantly, so much so I feel like my relationship with my brothers only grew after she was gone. When I was young I couldn’t see it, I didn’t understand the manipulation until years had passed, and I crossed oceans to breathe."

'All That I Remember' marks a brutal and impactful return for The Amity Affliction, a clear reminder of the immense talent that has defined their career. This track also ushers in an exciting new era for the band, as it features Jonny Reeves on clean vocals for the very first time.

Fans will undoubtedly recognise Reeves' voice; the Sacramento, California vocalist and musician has been touring with the band for their recent North American and European runs. Recommended by Josh Gilbert (Spiritbox), Reeves already boasts a strong following in the metalcore scene from his work with Kingdom of Giants. With 'All That I Remember', Reeves officially steps into the role of The Amity Affliction's clean vocalist, following the departure of Ahren Stringer.

2024 was a massive year for The Amity Affliction, with the tenth-anniversary celebration of their seminal album, 'Let The Ocean Take Me'. The release of a redux version and a huge national tour with We Came As Romans and Ice Nine Kills saw the band grace massive Australian stages – a triumphant return as they navigated the independent music scene for the first time in over a decade. Now, with 'All That I Remember', The Amity Affliction are ready to hit the ground running for the rest of 2025.
