Munan Is Brewing Up Beats with 'Jeju Organic Green Tea'

South Korean-Australian artist Munan is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated EP, 'Everything in Between', on 28th May, and he's giving us one more taste of what's to come with his fresh single, 'Jeju Organic Green Tea', out now.

Munan has been steadily building buzz with a string of cracking tracks leading up to the EP's release, including the likes of 'Stoked & Stoned', 'Fake Love Friday Night', and 'Naked'. His latest offering, 'Jeju Organic Green Tea', is a nostalgic trip that harks back to the sounds of 90s and 2000s video games and music culture.

The track is a vibrant mashup of Jungle, Rock, and Drum & Bass, creating an energetic soundscape that's seriously rhythm-driven. With jazzy chords woven in and rapid-fire drum patterns, the song perfectly captures that golden era vibe of classic gaming soundtracks.

Speaking about the new single and it's quirky title, Munan explains: "The song’s title came from a tea bag I found labeled Jeju Organic Green Tea in Korea. It made me wonder how something packaged in bulk could be considered organic. This sparked a thought about how anything found in nature can have its own special meaning. As a gamer, I was always drawn to the Jungle and DnB sounds that shaped gaming culture back then. I worked with some friends on the bass and drums to make sure we captured that vibe perfectly."

'Jeju Organic Green Tea' is available to stream everywhere now. Get it in your ears and get ready for 'Everything in Between' landing on 28th May.
