A new musical collective from Douglas, GA, MyFolk are a tight-knit trio of Marc Ross, Kleif Bussey, and Demetrius Martin. Better known by their respective creative monikers of Candyman, Kalico, and Field Boy, the group have been refining their sound and expanding their reach for almost a decade, releasing three mixtapes and taking over the underground scene.
Acclaimed mixes of visceral hip-hop, the releases of ‘The Resume’, ‘2 For Da Money’, and ‘NFL (No Fat Lady)’ broke ground with a plethora of hard-hitting rhymes, heavy beats, and dynamic shifting flow. Leading the band to performances at clubs such as Throwbacks and Club Crucial in Atlanta, and Club Rozay, Fountain Inn and The Martin Twin Theatre in Douglas, to name just a few, the band have set a steady pace that is winning them fans across their native state.
Currently working on releasing their fourth mixtape, the highly anticipated ‘The Resume 2’, along with their first album ‘NFL2 (No Fat Lady 2)’, the band recently released a stunning glimpse of their fresh, evolving sound in new single ‘Ball Don’t Lie’.
