A Braunton, Devon, artist who started writing lyrics as a release and a means of self-discovery, Bradley Foster has always used his music to figure out who he was and what he wanted to do while moving through his adolescence. His latest release, ‘Someday’, follows on from his debut and sophomore singles, and sees Bradly continuing to explore his present, future, and past through a riveting hip-hop sound.
Capturing the momentum of change, ‘Someday’ is a brilliant, melodically introspective hip-hop release, one that sees smooth vocal interplay between Foster and featuring artist, Izzy Dawson, set against a hazy and nostalgic rap track.
It’s a bold and catching sound, one that fades into view and flows freely around you, capturing a soulful refrain that is buoyed by colourful melodies and perfect, optimistic tones. Produced by Yogic Beats and both mixed and mastered by FLOUSEN, the single is an essential new cut for any fan of Kendrick Lamar, Little Simz and Loyle Carner.
Speaking openly about the new single, Bradley Foster explained, “’Someday’ is the lead single from my album, expressing hope and self-belief. I was inspired to write this song after coming back from Sri Lanka, where my perspective shifted, and my mentality progressed into a state of wanting to address my problems and grow.”
An excellent track about that self-love we all need to believe in, ‘Someday’ helps us all find our feet in a world that can so easily eclipse you. It’s a glorious song made with such love and care, brushing off the doubt with a much-needed message and plenty of talent.
Along with the release of ‘Someday’, Bradley has also recently shared his highly-anticipated debut album, ‘To Reach Blue Skies’ which is available on all major platforms now.
