An alt-indie sensation from the sun-kissed shores of California, Jared Harper has quickly become an international star. After first making his mark with the release of his critically acclaimed single ‘Running After You’ in 2018, Jared has continued to consistently garner international acclaim, refining his signature sound and offering a timeless blend of indie elements inspired by The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Beatles, and John Mayer. Today, Jared has taken his unique style a step further, revealing his most impressive single to date in ‘All For Me’.
A vintage alt-rock anthem that features a tempered blend of bouncing guitars and tension building verse, ‘All For Me’ sees Jared in his element, unleashing the ultimate party-rock earworm. Alongside the deft indie sounds, Jared also brings his smooth falsetto vocals to centre stage, carrying through the single a roguish charm that is perfectly emphasised by the lingering harmonies and undercurrent of gritty, edgy garage rock.
Created in collaboration with Josh Tyrrell, who recorded the instrumentals, mixed and mastered the single in Telstar Studios (London), ‘All For Me’ is arguably Jared’s most expressive and impressive singles to date, carrying forward the momentum of his previous releases while also setting the standard for things to come.
Speaking of the new release, Jared explained, “'All for Me' is a song to boost the mood of 2021; it was written in 2018 as a thunder-cracking form of encouragement not to miss out on good times or let others miss out. It resonates today more than it did back then; I am hoping that it will inspire people to loosen up and allow them to break out of the moments they are stuck in. I wanted an upbeat, passionate and energetic song to rock out to live, hence "All for Me". I can't wait to get back out on the scene, perform live and interact with a crowd.”
A stunning new release that shows how Jared has perfected the art of the pop-rock choruses, ‘All for Me’ is an invitation to listeners to seize the day and break out of periods of stagnation, and through the over-driven fuzzed-up instrumentals, ‘60s psych-pop anthemics, and his own calling vocals, he’s created an utter masterpiece.
