A sharp British rapper and producer from the South East of England, Krafty has become a central part of the UK’s independent rap scene over the last few years, taking his sound to new levels and creating a truly distinct style that combines cheeky punchlines, melodic choruses, and defiant hip-hop beats. After cutting his first demo at the young age of twelve, Krafty built his own make-shift studio in his room, and in doing so laid a foundation for a legacy that would continue to this day.
With more accolades than you can count, including topping the UK SoundClick Charts and being nominated for Best Hip-hop at the People’s Choice Awards, Krafty has already proven his skills beyond any shadow of a doubt, but now, with the release of his highly anticipated new single, he’s taken things to a whole new level.
Titled ‘Bread Crumbs’, the new cut sees Krafty diving headfirst into a cosmic world of new age beats and lyrical counterpunches, striking hard against the grain to create a strong and wonderfully entertaining slice of modern rap. Opening with an intricate series of electronic tones, nuanced beats, and Kraft’s effortlessly addictive flow, ‘Bread Crumbs’ cuts through your speakers with an ensnaring medley of quick cuts and contrasting themes, drawing you in with chilled, expressive verse and tantalising snare rolls, before really ramping things up with some stark, semi-industrial choruses.
A cornerstone of the track, the shifting focuses and styles creates a clever balance that holds your attention perfectly, flickering between a stripped back melodic sound and raw, digital-infused style that complement one another brilliantly. Showcasing two distinct and powerful sides to Krafty’s expansive sound, ‘Bread Crumbs’ doesn’t just impress or entertain, it perfectly announces Krafty as a major player in the future of hip-hop.
Built upon a strong hip-hop edge, ‘Bread Crumbs’ is an engaging introduction to the captivating world of Krafty, along with a unique glimpse into his forthcoming album ‘Artificial Nature’. You can check out the new track above alongside its official music video, as well as on Apple Music and Spotify, and don’t forget to check out Krafty’s own independent label, Monumental Records, where you can find beanies, hoodies, t-shirts, CDs and more.
