LOGUIDICE – ‘ONE’

LOGUIDICE – ‘ONE’

Arriving on the scene with a fresh, invigorating sound, independent singer-songwriter LOGUIDICE has recently released her veracious debut EP, and it’s every bit as empowering, honest and fierce as we could have hoped.

A Bethlehem, PA-residing musician who first rose to prominence with a string of cover singles and her mini-EP ‘Hope This Helps’, which all featured heavily on her Soundcloud page, LOGUIDICE has become a fixture of the independent scene, delivering a ‘90s RnB-inspired sound that gets under your skin and tugs gently at your heartstrings. While she has already proven her talents time and time again, all eyes have been firmly fixed on the release of LOGUIDICE’s debut EP, and thankfully, it doesn’t disappoint.

Featuring five sublime tracks that all build upon deep soulful moments, ‘ONE’ reflects LOGUIDICE’s newfound veracity, delivering a complete and wonderfully cohesive piece that blends nostalgic RnB sounds with deft indie-pop anthemics. Opening with ‘Moon’, LOGUIDICE immediately asserts herself as a fierce and undeniable talent, delivering an atmospheric epic that is buoyed wonderfully by the singer’s unique perspective. Elsewhere, ‘Elevators’ and ‘Transport’ revel in tempered, mellow sounds, intensifying tones, and transforming vocals that help showcase LOGUIDICE’s range.

In the closing tracks, ‘Overthinkin’ and ‘Magnetic’ make an undeniable mark, delivering a storm of arresting, ethereal sounds, pop sentimentalities, and distinctive RnB licks that will have you utterly enraptured, closing the EP with two of the most stunning release’s of LOGUIDICE’s career so far. A complete and unforgettable release, ‘ONE’ is available now on Spotify.

Exploring vulnerability and sensitivity, strength and self-awareness, ‘ONE’ is a release that proves that all of those experiences are valid, and you can experience them simultaneously. With her distinguishably soulful vocals, LOGUIDICE has managed to create a bold, positive statement for her listeners, and it deserves to be celebrated.

Score: 9/10
