The Antenna Tribe – ‘Be There’

  • 2 min read

An immersive project formed by anonymous producer from Los Angeles, The Antenna Tribe first appeared on our radar with the release of ‘Two Hearts’, a stunning single that revelled in semi-industrial tones and steady, ruminative beats. It was an enchanting first meeting, shining a steady spotlight on the eclectic project and earmarking them as one of projects to watch in 2022. Now, the unique and unexpected group are back and continuing to impress, channelling more creative dark-pop elements into their new cut, ‘Be There’.

While the group first made their mark in 2021 with the release of debut single ‘Gold Mine’, it’s only recently that their ambient pop sound has drifted through our speakers. Armed with an undeniably dark sound, they’ve perfected an effortless electronic sound, one that sees lo-fi vibes and chilled tempos colliding beautifully over ethereal electronic melodies.

In their latest single, the band have once again teamed up with vocalist and composer, Silke, creating a gorgeous downtempo release that will capture your attention from the very first tone. Coupled with the new music video which premiered just a few days ago, the song is a familiar and enrapturing release that perfectly balances modern atmospherics with more emotive, artistic flourishes, creating a near-perfect listening experience.

Available now on all major platforms, as well as part of our very own annual Spotify playlist for 2022, this is a track you won't want to miss.

A stunning blend of pulsating lo-fi beats, hypnotic synth, and Silke’s ethereal lead vocals, ‘Be There’ is The Antenna Tribe at their most powerful and immersive, and if they can keep producing tracks of this calibre, they’ll soon be streaming through everyone’s speakers.
