Nick Cave’s ‘Red Right Hand’ is an absolute classic, but it was Sheffield's Arctic Monkeys that took it to whole new levels. After first performing the track in 2009 when they embarked on a tour of Cave’s home country, they then went on to perform the song during their epic headline set at Reading & Leeds later that year.
Taking things a little further, Arctic Monkeys went on to add the song to their Japanese edition of 'Humbug' before later adding it as the B-Side for lead single ‘Crying Lightning’. One of the great covers, it has taken on a life of its very own.
