An artist, label owner, and self-declared ‘crypto beast’ Bam has been championing his breed of motivation hip-hop for years, representing his hometown of St. Louis while building his own legacy. After captivating the world over the last few years with a string of impressive singles, Bam is back and starting 2023 in perfect form, delivering the bold rap anthem, ‘Resilience’.
Building the flames first set by earlier singles ‘Crap Out’ and ‘Pressed’, the new single is another brilliant slice of anthemic hip-hop, capturing an eclectic style and pushing it to the limit. When speaking about his rise to fame, Bam was eager to tell his story, speaking freely of his hardships and triumphs. Emerging from the impoverished streets of St. Louis, Bam had a less than fortunate upbringing, his mother worked hard to keep him involved in different activities which lend itself to his eclectic style and taste in music. While prioritizing school and sports, Bam also kept a foot in the streets and an ear to the music scene. Being affiliated and working closely with bigger acts out of the Midwest, put him in a place to excel in hip-hop. Just as his rise through hip-hop began, Bam was involved in an incident that ended up resulting in a ten-year prison sentence.
After serving his time in full, Bam prepared for a life outside of the prison walls. During this time, he found his way back to the music industry, taking up the call and looking to complete some ‘unfinished business’. In time, he founded Go Time Affiliation along with his three business partners, and ever since, he’s been stamping his name firmly on the independent scene.
