Written with Cosmo's Midnight and Asta, and produced by Konstantin Kersting (Tones & I, Jungle Giants), ‘does it get boring’ lands as another unapologetic anthem from the brilliant bella amor.
Finding the balance between her glowing falsettos and punchy hooks, everything bella does is hinged to her infectious positive energy and open book attitude. bella says of the single: “This song is about someone I met on Tinder and was seeing casually on and off. They always complained about being single and never finding love but they were very self-destructive and knew that. They had people lining up at their feet and it made me question if it was boring doing the same old thing but longing for something else. And that's how ‘does it get boring’ was created, out of a genuine curiosity”.
‘does it get boring’ arrives not even one year after bella burst onto the scene with debut single, ‘can’t get laid’. Launching into the hearts of pop music lovers nationwide, she soon followed up with ‘all my friends are high’, ‘heart attack’ and 2023 single ‘sentimental’. In addition to her own music, bella recently leant her vocals on joined forces with Ghanian-born, Sydney-based artist BLESSED for the soulful, indie-pop masterpiece, ‘Cut Too Deep’, produced by Matt Corby.
Enamoring audiences every time she steps onto the stage, bella secured her “ones to watch” status when she sold out her debut headline show in the Gold Coast in 2022. Since then, she has performed at Goat Valley Crawl, supported Lime Cordiale, featured on Young Henry’s Best Served Loud Gold Coast lineup and The Long Sunset festival. Showing no signs of slowing down, bella was announced on the lineups for Grapevine Gathering lineup and BIGSOUND 2023.
