Boey's 'Hurt No More' Offers Soulful Healing in the Face of Hopelessness

London-based Malaysian singer-songwriter Boey emerges from the vibrant R&B scene with his latest single, 'Hurt No More'. Serving as the lead single from his forthcoming sophomore album, 'Acoustic Space', due September 2024, this track delves into the depths of despair, echoing a yearning for relief from pain.

Boey's silky vocals glide over a bed of mellow beats and soulful harmonies, creating an atmosphere of both melancholy and hope. The lyrics touch upon the dishonesty and cowardice of those in power, highlighting the suffering they inflict upon the masses. Yet, through it all, 'Hurt No More' emerges as an anthem for the downtrodden and forgotten, a balm for their weary souls.

"This song is about finding the strength to move forward, even when everything seems hopeless," says Boey. "It's about recognising the pain that we've been through, but refusing to let it define us."

Originally from Ipoh, Malaysia, Boey's musical journey began at the tender age of 13, composing orchestral pieces for his high school symphony orchestra. After discovering his vocal talents, he transitioned into writing pop and adult contemporary songs, channeling his emotions and fantasies into his music.

"Making music is pure joy for me," Boey explains. "It's like magic, how a simple melody or a few words can blossom into a full-fledged song."

'Hurt No More' is a testament to Boey's artistry and his ability to connect with listeners on a deep, emotional level. With its smooth, chilled vibe and soulful essence, this track is poised to become a favourite among R&B enthusiasts and anyone seeking solace in music.

Boey's upcoming album, 'Acoustic Space', promises to be a captivating journey through his musical universe. With 'Hurt No More' as its compelling introduction, fans can anticipate a collection of heartfelt songs that explore the complexities of human emotions and experiences.
