  • 2 min read

Born and raised in East Harlem, BossTheBillionaire has become a rising star in the music industry, delivering visceral cuts that build from a deft fusion of R&B, hip-hop, and subtle pop elements. Showcasing his versatility and creativity, BossTheBillionaire has recently dropped his nine-track mixtape titled ‘Broken Roses’, cementing his position as a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.

One of the true highlights from the new album, ‘Feelings’ perfectly illustrates BossTheBillionaire’s signature sound, delivering an evocative, yet unyielding release that flows with top-notch production, smooth, melodic beats, and bars that perfectly complement the artist's vocals. Impressively, the song and the mixtape as a whole, find strength through their honesty and vulnerability, taking a brave departure from the typical bravado and materialism often found in contemporary hip-hop tracks.

At its core, ‘Feelings’ resonates with every listener through its relatable themes and emotional depth, and there is no shortage of fans who have taken to social media to express their love and admiration for the track. Alongside ‘Feelings’, the nine-track album also delivers impressive moments in the likes of ‘Uh Huh’ and ‘Moving When They Losing’, which have already gained over 30,000 combined streams on Spotify alone.

Speaking openly about the ‘Broken Roses’ mixtape, BossTheBillionaire said, “I chose the name of the tape because I wanted to put out something different than your typical broken heart songs. That’s why the name of the tape is called ‘Broken Roses’ ‘cause to me broken roses are like a broken heart.”

Along with his music, BossTheBillionaire has also founded The Billionaire Empire and Billionaire Exchange Records, which have become central to his drive and determination. He continued, “Born and raised In East Harlem on the Streets known to most as Killa 1st from growing up in 1199 to walking the streets of 1st Ave creating my own vision on how I seen my neighborhood imprinting the words Do11a Ave using two 1’s showing the love for my block and avenue.”
