Dublin three-piece Jam Hades have just released their impressive boogie opener ‘The Edge’, the first and only single from upcoming debut album ‘The Edge of Regret’.
A massive anthem that doubles as a brazen call to arms, ‘The Edge’ really represents the ‘Spotify bait’, plucking would-be followers from the undercurrents of casual music listenership. The music, though genre defying at times, bounds between 70's proto post-punk, via 80's calypso frolics, before lurching seamlessly into a 90's rock and post-rock apocalypse.
Available now on all major channels, the single features Conor McAuley on Drums, Mark McManus on guitars and vocals, was mastered by Ciaran M Byrne. To complete the peice, the new cut also features artwork by Sanya Todorovich.
The band's debut album, 'The Edge of Regret', is set to serve up a mash of ‘Bandcamp stew’, to be consumed ‘whole’, by only the most hardened and eager eagle-eared 'Muso' aficionados. The release date for the album is set for the 24th of February 2023.
