A renowned artist who has been enchanting audiences with his rich and wonderfully profound lyrical pieces, Joshua Ketchmark is ready to step back into the spotlight with new single ‘Covered In Blood’.
A truly independent artist with a talent for creating lyrically and musically enriched songs, Joshua hails from Nashville, United States, where he has established himself as one of the most promising and impressive talents around. With songs like ‘The Comeback, ‘So Wrong’, and ‘Memory Lane’ already to his name, the standard for Joshua’s work has well and truly been set, but with his new single, he’s ready to take things to a whole new level.
Set for release on the 8th of July this year, the new single is taken from Joshua’s upcoming tenth album which will be simple titled ‘Blood’. A twelve-track body of work set to combine a range of moods, tones and instrumental vibes, the new album was produced and mixed by Joshua and documents his past, pulling no punches and sharing his true, honest experiences. Previously, Joshua stated that the album is based on true events and that the title is inspired not only by the lyrical subject matter but also by those involved with the making of the record.
All of the songs on ‘Blood’ were written by Joshua, and a significant amount of the songwriting for the album took place in the later part of 2018 and beginning of 2019. The recording process started in the spring of 2020 and took place in various studios throughout California, Arizona, Georgia, and Tennessee. It all came together to be completed and mixed at Ketchmark’s studio, Black Gold Speakeasy, in Nashville, TN.
