Country powerhouse vocalist Kameron Marlowe has released his highly-anticipated sophomore album, 'Keepin' The Lights On', on Friday, May 31st. Fresh from captivating audiences at CMC Rocks QLD 2024 and supporting Lainey Wilson, Marlowe's new album promises a transparent journey through growth, maturity, and life's fulfilling promises.
The sixteen meticulously crafted tracks, including the acclaimed singles 'Quit You', 'Strangers' (with Ella Langley), 'Tennessee Don't Mind', and the title track, were penned alongside esteemed writers such as Kendell Marvel, Michael Hardy, and Wyatt McCubbin. Produced by Dann Huff, the album offers a glimpse into Marlowe's life, from childhood to the present day.
"I feel like I discovered a lot about myself while making this record," shares Marlowe. "This album explores everything from loss to love, depression to joy, and overcoming the voices in your head telling you you're not good enough."
'Keepin' The Lights On' delves into life's struggles, the familiarity of heartbreak, and the transformative power of love. Marlowe's distinctive voice, described as "tried and true country melodies" (Whiskey Riff), guides listeners through raw emotions with remarkable precision.
Marlowe's sound, a fusion of edgy electric twang, gritty rock, and bluesy tenderness, has garnered immense popularity since his Platinum-certified debut, 'Giving You Up'. His debut album, 'We Were Cowboys', was one of 2022's top streaming country albums on Spotify and named one of the year's best by several publications. With 'Keepin' The Lights On', Marlowe embarks on his most personal chapter yet.
