Today, singer/songwriter, Katie Lynne Sharbaugh releases her new song, 'Other Side', a gorgeous new single featuring pop-folk artist, Taylor Bickett.
A standout release, 'Other Side' artfully alludes to jazz-pop and musical theater roots, conveying a daily struggle with social anxiety and the thoughts, motions, and processes we go through while trying to be part of a conversation. In other words, the two artists sing about the feeling of being left on the ‘other side’.
With a style that seamlessly combines elements of jazz, pop, and musical theater, featuring cinematic instrumentals and melodic storytelling, Katie has become a talent to watch, and her new single proves just why.
Katie is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2021, she has released a debut double EP entitled 'Little Blue Beetle' and plans to release a full-length album in the summer of 2023.
In 2022, Katie’s original 'Tornado Warnings' gained attention on TikTok and was covered by Joe Jonas in a viral duet. 'Tornado Warnings' was released as a single later that year and will appear on her upcoming project, 'Upstaged'.
