Trinisha Browne – ‘It’s On You’

An Afro-Trinidadian artist hailing from Montreal, Canada, Trinisha Browne is proud to be releasing a brand new single, ‘It’s On You’. Premiered on Broken 8 Records, the new track is a stellar slice of emotive pop brilliance.

An artist who began to form her sound during her high school years, Browne developed a love of sketching and art that soon turned to water-based painting. The cover for her second EP, ‘Thought You Should Know’ was the first drawing Browne ever turned into a painting, and it formed the basis for her artistic evolution. In her early teens Browne also fell in love with poetry, using words and writing as a way of expressing emotions she would otherwise have kept bottled up. It was also during these years that Browne began singing in the church choir at Act Pentecostal Church in Montreal, setting into motion a passion and career that would become something truly remarkable.

In December of 2016, Browne released her first solo EP ‘Freewrite’, which was featured on the website of VOIR Magazine. In the following year her second EP was released, and the hype grew with an interview by VICE Quebec. Even more recently in December of 2017, Browne had the honour of opening for Azealia Banks at L'Olympia in Montreal, Canada.

A promising young artist in every sense of the word, Browne has an impressive voice and an even more remarkable message to share.

Her new single, ‘It’s On You’ is the perfect illustration of both these points. A glistening track that is filled with a vibrant sense of electronic ambience and a soulful nature that is simply irresistible, ‘It’s On You’ is the sound of a fully realised artist. Available to stream above, and for the very first time, the new single will undoubtedly be the track that takes Trinisha Browne’s career to some stunning new levels.
