A band who originally formed in 2011, Temperamental have spent the last decade creating some of the most dynamic and destructive punk anthems that Darwin’s independent scene has ever heard. With a sound that ruthlessly blends old school grunge anthemics with more contemporary punk sounds, the band have developed a unique and undeniably powerful style that has kept them at the very forefront of Australia’s rising punk movement.
After first making their mark with the release of their debut EP ‘Safe’, Temperamental have continued to impress fans and critics alike, lashing out with fun, high-energy cuts that shake with plenty of grit, heart, and punk-rock power. Now, the tight-knit band of Callan Power, Darren Schmitt Patrick Woolley, and Todd Naumann are back in the spotlight with the release of their new EP, ‘It Just Keeps Getting Worse’, a brilliant record that sees them boys sounding more mature and expressive than ever before.
A cataclysmic new EP, ‘It Just Keeps Getting Worse’ is set for release on the 20th of May this year and offers a heavy, and wonderfully authentic look at the band’s rough-and-ready style. Three years on from their last EP, the new record is a perfect continuation of Temperamental’s sound, building itself perfectly on a wave of brash instrumentals, punchy vocals, and lyrics that never fail to draw a smile.
Featuring their latest single ‘Fox and the Hound’, along with fan favourite ‘Foolish’, Temperamental’s new EP everything we’ve come to love about the band and more, offering a refreshing, original, and wonderfully vibrant collection of sounds that will shake 2022 for months to come.
Set to be one of the biggest and most exciting independent releases of the year so far, ‘It Just Keeps Getting Worse’ is available to pre-save on Spotify today, and will be released in full on all major platforms on the 20th of May this year.
