'Live Everyday' Anthem Leads Royston Noell's Transformative 'Sunrise' EP

Royston Noell, the artist who captured hearts across Australia, has released his highly anticipated 'Sunrise' EP, headlined by the rousing anthem, 'Live Everyday'. This release marks a significant milestone for the First Nations artist, who has navigated a remarkable journey from a small-town dreamer to a national sensation.

The EP's title, 'Sunrise', isn't merely a nod to daylight; it symbolises a profound shift, the transition from obscurity to clarity. Noell describes it as a representation of personal evolution, the relentless pursuit of aspiration, and a commitment to embracing each moment. It's a narrative of self-discovery, told through a collection of deeply personal songs.

For Noell, 'Sunrise' is more than just a collection of tracks; it's a chronicle of his life. He's the young man from Mapoon who dared to defy expectations, and now, he's poised to share his story with the world. Having won Australian Idol, he's no stranger to the power of perseverance, and this EP represents the next chapter in his artistic journey.

"I put a lot of my heart and soul into this," Noell explains. "This EP is the output from the creative journey I undertook after winning Idol. This project has been a long time coming, but I’m so grateful I had the time needed to truly put together a body of work that I was proud of. To really figure out what I wanted to say and give to the world as an artist. During this time, I found a reason to express myself a little more, I truly found how to operate as an artist. I’ve still got a lot more to learn and a lot more to do, but as of today, I’ve found a place with my voice, with my creative output to finally have something that I can say with confidence."

He emphasises that the EP's creation was a deliberate and thoughtful process. "I didn't want to put out just anything," he says. "I could have rushed into this. If I had released an EP a year ago, it wouldn't have been a strong body of work. This is an album about the different journeys I undertook that have helped me find myself, find my voice, push myself for my dreams and remembering to still have fun while doing it. You know, the most beautiful thing about sunrise is that no matter what's going in your world, there is another day promised, and the sun will rise. There's always a chance for light, even if there's a stormy or cloudy day."

'Sunrise' is structured into three distinct segments: The Blooming, The Climb, and Sunshine Bliss, each containing two songs that reflect a chronological progression in Noell's life. This structure highlights his journey from initial growth to achieving a sense of joy.

Prior to the EP's release, Royston Noell performed at Mardi Gras Fair Day on February 16th, demonstrating his continued engagement with his audience.Fans can now connect with him through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
