Daniel Seavey Debuts 'The Older You Get' as Lead Single from Forthcoming Solo Album

Multi-platinum singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Daniel Seavey has launched his highly anticipated debut solo album era with new single 'The Older You Get', available now via Atlantic Records. Created in collaboration with chart-topping writer/producer Michael Pollack (Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber), the song's lyrics reflect an artist forced to grow up rapidly.

"I couldn't think of a better song to start off this new chapter," Seavey says. "A lot of life had to happen for this song to exist… I had to see me at my worst in order to find me at my best. The most sentimental piece of work I’ll have ever put out. From my heart to your ears, I am so excited for you all to feel this one."

Seavey has also announced he'll be joining Benson Boone on his sold-out UK/European tour, kicking off May 21st in London.

For nearly a decade, Seavey has worked within various industry structures to ultimately find his creative freedom. After co-founding Why Don't We in 2016, he embarked on a six-year journey that included over 6 billion global career streams, numerous ARIA certifications, two Top 10 albums, and sold out world tours.

However, by 2022, Seavey faced personal and professional struggles, which he channelled into his 2023 EP,Dancing In The Dark. This project amassed over 60 million streams and critical acclaim, despite ongoing legal battles over his creative ownership.

Now, in 2024, Seavey is a free artist at his peak. His forthcoming debut album promises a unique blend of early-aughts pop and rock, showcasing his diverse talents as a writer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer.
