Dunedin's The Beatniks are proud to share debut album ‘Archetype’

Dunedin-based rock band ‘The Beatniks’ are proud to share the release of their debut album ‘Archetype’, available now on all streaming platforms.

More than an singular record, The Beatniks' debut delivers a brilliantly cultivated amalgamation of sound and rhythm that presents the story of the human experience, bound together by the freedom from this twisted reality that music provides.

This collection of songs represents our journey. From practicing, writing, and recording in the cold and moldy flats of Otepoti, Dunedin to performing stages across the country. A journey that couldn’t have been accomplished without your support. We are absolutely thrilled and grateful to present to you a finished product that showcases a little piece of ourselves.

The Beatniks are Sam Charlesworth (Vocals/Guitar), Oliver Charlesworth (Guitar), Logan Edwards (Guitar), Alex Kendall (Bass) and Seth Sinclair (Drums), Dunedin-based, the five-piece alternative rock band known for their energetic and unapologetic sound. Self-Produced with a kiwi D.I.Y punk attitude, the band maintains complete artistic control to create music that resonates with their devoted fanbase.

Through their high-octane live performances and thought-provoking lyrics, The Beatniks continue to captivate audiences and leave an indelible mark on the NZ rock music landscape.

The Beatniks just finished their debut New Zealand tour in support of the album, playing sold out shows in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.
