As A Rival - 'All The Rage'

“It’s definitely been a time of reflection”, muses As A Rival vocalist and guitarist, Pete Cerni contemplating the impact of the past few years. “We were exhausted after the release of Griefers and we took a long deserved break to rejuvenate. With our fire rekindled, our first show back was late Feb 2020 and we all know what followed….”

As the world and music industry continues to recover from the last few years of pandemics, lockdowns, and isolation, As A Rival are back in the spotlight and looking to spark something new. Returning to the scene after a few years away, the band have announced the upcoming release of the highly anticipated third album, 'The Only Way Out Is Together', and shared a titanic new single in the form of 'All The Rage'.

Marked as a celebration of 10 years as a band, the nucleus of those formative years, mixed with the lessons learned from touring and working with some of their idols, the new album is set to be their most musically diverse and inclusive representation as a band, addressing perseverance, resurgence, and above all love.

Previously, the band have already shared singles such as the soaring 'Lost At Sea', but with 'All The Rage', they've continued to improve and impress, pushing their sound to the absolute limit. As the band explained, “We just kept writing. The lockdowns kept getting extended. We had the time so we took advantage.”

Released just a few days ago, 'All The Rage' has already garnered a flurry of attention, arriving as a true statement of intent that comes complete with an engaging lyric video.

Throughout As A Rival's return, they've shown a maturity in their delivery while remaining true to their roots. From the album’s searing opener 'Lost At Sea', to the power that is 'All The Rage', the intimate journey of 'So Long' and to the statement that is the closer, 'Hammerhead', the album explores what we have grown to enjoy, but also dabbles into new territories.

You can pre-save the new album now ahead of its release on September 30th.
