Bloody Monroe – ‘They Live’

A hard rock trio from the Calgary, Alberta, Bloody Monroe hit the ground running back in 2019 with the release of their debut EP, ‘How To Bury A Billionaire’. A caustic three-track release that revelled in heavy guitar riffs, searing choruses, and gritty, destructive vocals, the EP perfectly summarised the band’s cataclysmic sound, and now, a few years later, they’re back with a bold new single and plans for their long-awaited debut album.

Built from the undeniable talents of Nathan Raboud, Maxwell McFadyen, and Michael Green, Bloody Monroe have proved their abilities time and time again, but with their new single, ‘They Live’, they’ve come out swinging harder than ever, delivering one of the most brash, bold, and brutal rock releases of the last few years.

Showcasing the band’s keen ear for heavy rock anthemics, ‘They Live’ hits with undeniable force, layering a heavy stream of rampant guitar, lively vocals and thunderous percussion to create sheer magic. Much like the Calgary counterparts, Lÿnx did with their breakthrough single ‘Crazy Crazy World’, Bloody Monroe has left a trail of destruction with ‘They Live’, kicking away the dirt and grime to reveal a fierce heavy rock anthem for the ages.

Young, but experienced, and constantly pushing to make their mark, Bloody Monroe have announced themselves as one of Calgary’s biggest new bands, and it’s all thanks to tracks like ‘They Live’. You can catch the new single below alongside its official music video.

Along with the release of the new single, the band have also revealed details of their debut album, which is set to drop on December 10th this year. For more details, check out this exclusive announcement the band made via their Facebook page.
