MC Pyrit – ‘Take It Back’

An Australian-born emcee specialising in the ‘boom-bap’ style of hip-hop, MC Pyrit has been described as the hype storyteller of his generation. Known for his ability to captivate listeners and take them on a journey through his creative mind, he’s become an underground pioneer that warrants attention.

After releasing his debut album ‘Unspoken Sentiment’ in late 2020, which was reviewed by the Courier Mail's Entertainment writer John O'Brien as proof that Aussies can cut it with hip-hop, MC Pyrit has continued to impress with a brilliant string of singles.

His latest, and arguably his best of the year so far, ‘Take It Back’ is a perfect illustration of his creativity and lyrical abilities, channelling the chaos and strife of his life and presenting it as a titanic hip-hop anthem. A hard-hitting cut that sees MC Pyrit deliver some of his best lyrics shots to date, ‘Take It Back’ hits time and time again through beats by Dane Heslin and some smooth guest vocals from Vivien Aisi. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Purple Sound Recording Studios Cairns, the single comes complete with a new video filmed by Astralvid.

An ode to 90’s boom-bap style of hip-hop, ‘Take It Back’ is everything we’ve come to love about MC Pyrit’s style and more. You can stream the full video below via YouTube, or head to Spotify where you can catch the track streaming in all its glory.

A hip-hop enthusiast who has only just begun his lifelong dream to bring his creativity and lyrical abilities to the world, MC Pyrit is going to be a true creative force in 2023. Check out the new single today and make sure you check out his social media pages below for more.
