venbee x Rudimental - 'die young'

Rising UK drum and bass star venbee has just released her latest single, ‘die young’, a stunning track that sees her team up with a legendary act who were an early inspiration of hers, the indomitable Rudimental.

On this heavyweight, drum and bass banger that was released at 3:00 am this morning, venbee’s introspective song writing has her baring her soul once again, washing away the tears as she sips away her sins.

Speaking openly about the new single, venbee said, “‘die young’ was written about the time I felt and was my lowest. It’s based around a conversation I had with my granny when I was going through it. I wrote the hook in my bedroom and took it into a session with Nick and Rick and it’s turned into what you are listening to today!”

An introspective release that shines with venbee's honest and wonderfully raw lyrics, the new single sees venbee continuing to impress, delivering stark lines like "i’ve been trying to get high fix the pieces in my mind, cuz i’m on a lowdown here, kinda wish i was six feet under, living the dream, the world is fucked mate, not as good as it seems."

venbee has made a welcome entry to the stage with key performances at All Points East, Printworks, SXSW, The Great Escape plus her first Sold- Out UK live tour under her belt. More recently she made her TV debut on Later With Jools Holland with a live performance of ‘gutter’ and appearing on stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. This September, venbee will head down under for the national Listen Out tour.
