Bexxie & Towera Take Control of the Rave Scene With New Single

The 1990s are back in vogue, and Bexxie is leading the charge with her new single, 'Take Control'. Released on February 18th via Insomniac’s In/Rotation, the track is a nostalgic trip back to the golden age of rave, infused with Bexxie’s distinctive style and Towera's glistening vocals.

Throughout, Towera's powerful vocals are at the forefront, while Bexxie forges a vibrant energy, transforming it into a modern rave anthem. She's drawing inspiration from her early experiences in the rave scene, creating music that resonates with the soulful energy of that era.

The track builds with Bexxie's signature claps, leading into a captivating vocal performance and a compelling breakdown. Classic rave stabs and acid lines create a sense of nostalgia, while the overall sound remains current and irresistibly danceable.

“I wanted to lean into the early ‘90s rave sound while also adding a UK garage vibe, particularly through the shuffling drum pattern and bassline,” Bexxie explains. “Towera did a beautiful job with the vocals, really bringing the track together.”

2024 was a landmark year for Bexxie. She returned to EDC Las Vegas for a third time, made her ADE debut, and delivered standout performances at Exchange LA for Tech My House and on the Provenance NYE stage alongside Seven Lions.

With new music and live shows on the horizon, Bexxie is poised to make 2025 another year to remember. Keep an eye out for updates and catch her at a show near you. For more from Bexxie, connect with her via Facebook, Instagram, and X.
