Speaking of the new single, Chico explained, “Rollercoaster is the second song now, and I probably won't stop until I've reached my goals. I write my own lyrics, I create my own sound, and I love to stay that way because my songs represent what is going on in my life. I try to stay versatile, as I don't want to just stick to one genre or style, I want to be recognized for my strong/sandy vocals and rich harmonies in the background.”
He continued, “This song is based on moments that actually happened in my life, I tried to picture ‘love’ as a rollercoaster, that every relationship has its ups and downs but still the ride is enjoyable. I also tried singing the hook in a way that the melodies can actually create a rollercoaster ride. Every vocal you hear in the song are mine, and each and every one of them creates a different harmony that enriches this song. It's easy to listen to but also sends a strong message. It is a vibe, and I've actually seen how people react when they first listen to the song and the way I feel in that moment, it's mesmerizing.”
In true form, Viktor ‘Chico Viko’ Pecov was educated as a classical pianist, later changing his tune and setting his sights on different kinds of music. Since making the change to becoming a singer-songwriter, Chico has become something of a global sensation, as he explained, “Started strong after my first release ‘Seven Days’ that now has approximately 140,000 streams on Spotify, which is great considering it was my first song and also I had zero fans and audience back then.”
