Curtis Harding – ‘With You’

Atlanta-based artist Curtis Harding has recently shared a new song titled ‘With You’, which features some sensational backing vocals from the one-and-only SASAMI.

The latest track to be released from his forthcoming studio album, ‘If Words Were Flowers’, which is due out on November 5 via ANTI-, ‘With You’ carries on Curtis’ traditional of reimagining old school soul and blues, while branching out to further his own unique and textured sound.

In a press release, Curtis elaborated on the inspiration behind his new album, explaining “Nina Simone said that it’s an artist’s job to reflect the times. I think it’s important to live in the moment. If you do that and you’re honest and vulnerable, you can reach the people that need to be reached. There are days when it feels like people just don’t care. You wonder how they can see everything going on around them and not feel something, but all you can do is meet them face to face and try to connect. All you can do is give them your flowers.”

The fourth single from the new album, ‘Wit You’ follows ‘Hopeful,’ ‘Can’t Hide It,’ and ‘I Won’t Let You Down,’ which have been carving their own impressive paths through the year so far. The new single is available online now, and you can tune in below via YouTube.

Curtis’ previous album, the critically acclaimed ‘Face Your Fear’, came out back in 2017 via ANTI-, and it’s been a long wait for the follow-up, but with singles like ‘With You’, it seems that the wait has definitely been worth it. You can pre-order and pre-save the new album today.
