CYNiKAL & 4.47 FM Set The Stage For New Album 'PURiTY' With New Cut 'XRAY ViSiON'

Rising rap talents CYNiKAL and 4.47 FM are set to unleash their 90's hip-hop-infused album 'PURiTY' on August 15th, but before that, they've shared the cataclysmic new single, 'XRAY ViSiON'.

The Dallas-based duo have pulled inspiration from legends like A Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang Clan to forge their sound, adding their own unique twist to the mix to create a brilliant maelstrom of sounds. In unique form, lead single 'XRAY ViSiON' is a raw and introspective track exploring the struggle to shed the need to please others and embrace one's true self.

The track's title reflects this ethos, with CYNiKAL's pseudonym hinting at the internal battle between cynicism and the desire to do good. Lyrically, it delves into everyday life experiences, from the mundane to the profound. As CYNiKAL puts it, "I could craft a 10-hour story around paint drying and my frustrations with the bogus shit they be pulling at Popeyes." For the track, CYNiKAL handled the vocals, while the production and vocal arrangements were done by 4.47 FM.

Looking forward to the album, CYNiKAL explained it was about shedding the need to please others, which gave life to the album's title, 'PURiTY'. In a powerful sense of self-awareness, even the pseudonym 'CYNiKAL' was formed around the author's conscious thoughts of negative. He's trying his best to do the right thing despite the path of immorality looking like a much easier time.

With their new album on the horizon, CYNiKAL & 4.47 FM are ready to make their mark on the hip-hop scene, so make sure you keep an eye out on the 15th of August.
