Ethereal dream-pop group Silent Mass unveils haunting new single 'Nest of Flowers'

Brooklyn's own Silent Mass continues to mesmerize with their chilling blend of dreampop and shoegaze in their latest release, 'Nest of Flowers'. This single provides a glimpse into their forthcoming debut album, 'The Great Chaos', set to drop on June 21st, the Summer Solstice.

"Nest of Flowers is an ode to walking a directionless path into the unknown. It’s a reminder to trust that a way out always reveals itself in time," reveals vocalist and songwriter, Ammo Bankoff.

Silent Mass's sound evokes a misty, ethereal dreamscape, akin to sipping red wine while listening to Enya. Yet, they retain an edge reminiscent of The Cranberries, Chelsea Wolfe, Beach House, and Cranes. This intoxicating sonic tapestry has earned them the title of "ethereal Brooklyn goths" by Brooklyn Vegan and opening slots for acts like True Widow at major events like the New Colossus Festival.

The band's journey began in Los Angeles with Ammo Bankoff's solo project, attracting attention for their 2020 cover of 'Total Recall.' Expanding into a full band in New York City, Silent Mass has consistently released captivating singles, each building anticipation for their debut album.

Fans of post-punk, ethereal wave, shoegaze, and atmospheric 90s alternative will find themselves drawn into Silent Mass's mesmerizing sonic space. Those who long for a darker, more intense Enya or crave sonic journeys in the vein of The Cranberries and Chelsea Wolfe won't want to miss this.
