Fruitz return with their highly anticipated new single ‘Visions of You’. This is the first taste of new music from the Dublin indie-rock outfit since the release of their critically acclaimed debut EP ‘The Pits and The Glamour’ in December 2021.
Speaking about the new single, James Keegan of the band added, “As a music lover, this is probably my favourite thing we’ve released. It was one of them that fell out of the sky for me and wrote itself.”
Delivering three and a half minutes of indie bliss, the new single is sure to have fans around the globe biting their lips in anticipation for more from the Dublin duo, and with Fruitz frontman James Keegan saying “This is the start of a new chapter”, they won’t be waiting too long.
“I do feel ‘Visions of You’ is a taste of our earlier sound that has matured with us” said Keegan, whilst bass player Adam Whelehan, stated “This is a new look with old ideas. ‘Visions of You’ has sharp rhythmic verses, a warm melodic chorus with a big energetic finish.”
Fruitz rejoined forces with Cian Synnott to record this track, who they worked closely with on ‘The Pits and The Glamour’. Dubbed as one of the most exciting bands in Ireland right now, FRUITZ launched into the music scene in late 2017, quickly making a name for themselves as an exciting live band.
Releasing a plethora of indie bangers such as ‘Knotz’, ‘U&I’, and the fan favorite ‘Girl Around The Corner’, just to name a few, Fruitz quickly became the name on the lips of Indie music lovers throughout the country and beyond.
Releasing songs to tickle everyone’s taste buds, FRUITZ earned themselves an international following, playing their UK debut to sold out crowds and gaining radio play from all around the globe.
