Today, the talented solo artistJonny Swiftreleases his anthemic new single‘Hollywood’ which is taken from his acclaimed album ‘Kalimera’. The new single is accompanied by a previously unreleased track called ‘Wildflower’ to complete the pairing in perfect form.
A Cumbrian-based songwriter and performer whose third album, ‘Kalimera’ was released at the start of 2023, Jonny Swift has received exposure fromBBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio as well as strong support from local radio. His new single, ‘Hollywood’ is a perfectly crafted slice of indie-pop. The track immediately draws the listener in with its foot-tapping tempo, clever lyrics and Swift’s brilliant vocal delivery. ‘Hollywood’ was produced and mastered by Matt Kassell at the Digital Man Recording Studio in Barrow-In-Furness.
‘Hollywood’ is accompanied by an unreleased track of Swift’s called ‘Wildflower’. This B-side features jangly guitars and a dream-pop vibe, showcasing the diversity in his songwriting. Both songs are perfect for radio, being upbeat and catchy.
Since 2020, Jonny Swift has released three albums via the independent label Seahouse Records. Swift is also an exciting live performer having previously supported Finley Quaye and Wendy James, as well as appearing at several festivals.
Active in his local community, Jonny has helped raise over £6,000 for his local food bank via sales from his Bandcamp and from live events, under the moniker ‘Bags Of Love.’
