Jordn – ‘Blessed’

  • 1 min read

After co-writing some of Chris Brown’s biggest songs, Los Angeles based hip-hop artist has released his own slice of RnB gold with new single ‘Blessed’. A raw and thought-provoking track that has the artist reflecting on himself and life in its entirety, ‘Blessed’ is everything we’ve come to expect from the talented young artist, and it’s quickly gaining traction online.

After collaborating with numerous artists, Jordn is gearing up to release his very own EP ‘High Hopes’, and ‘Blessed’ has arrived as the first stunning glimpse. Setting the tone perfectly, the new single drips with deep emotions and biting verses intertwined with smooth melodic runs, entrancing vocals, and powerfully dark downtempo hip-hop production by producer Nico. A rare track that shines with perseverance and self-mastery through heavy beats that ignite the soul, it’s a force to be reckoned with.

Speaking of the new single, Jordn explained, “This song for me really was me giving myself a pep talk. I was feeling really down at that point in time for whatever reason, and I wanted to remind myself that I was actually doing a good job. It wasn't just luck that ended me up here and I truly have something to share through what I create whether it’s by myself or collaboratively.”

Available now on all major platforms, along with a clever visualiser that brings more depth to the track, ‘Blessed’ is essential listening for any fan of contemporary hip-hop.

A unique talent with a visceral worldview, Jordn has a timeless sense of style and boundless creativity, and with tracks like ‘Blessed’ up his sleeve, he’s bound to become of the future’s biggest musical icons.
