Kat Hamilton – ‘I Wish This Was A Love Story’

  • 2 min read

The new five-track EP from Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Kat Hamilton, ‘I Wish This Was A Love Story’ takes the listener through a cinematic journey of heartbreak, fantasy, and desire.

Speaking openly about the new EP, Kat confides, "Sometimes it's not a love story, sometimes it's everything else." A fearless genre-explorative collection of songs, the EP features everything from slow-burned pop lullabies to lush folk-rock tunes and indie pop bangers.

‘I Wish This Was A Love Story’ artfully examines a toxic relationship from every different angle. Kat takes a cutting approach to feelings of remorse, anger, desire, intrigue, and acceptance. Sometimes the love that changes your life, isn't love at all. Sometimes it’s everything else. The EP is vulnerable, raw, explorative, and cathartic, and it deserves to be not just heard but felt as well.
