A talented singer, guitarist, and songwriter, Liam Turner is one of the newest faces on the Australian music scene, but in just a few short months, he’s achieved a hell of a lot. An impressive young talent with a fresh new sound, Liam has been turning heads and drawing crowds with his rustic blend of smooth jazz and old school rock, creating a high-energy and uniquely jazzy sound that is perfectly illustrated by singles like ‘Which Way To Go’.
At just seventeen years old, Liam moved to Melbourne to fully immerse himself in music and further his career. It was a bold move that infinitely inspired his style, allowing him to explore new genres and styles that he has seamlessly incorporated into his own creative sound. With inspirations that are as wide-reaching as they are eclectic, his own music showcases a colourful assemblage of elements, stitching together flourishes of rock, jazz, and folk into his refreshing take on the singer-songwriter genre.
Arguably his most accomplished single to date, ‘Which Way To Go’ emerges as the title track from Liam’s debut EP, and it perfectly ties together the collection, introducing the world to his smooth, yet triumphant sound. Filled with chilled out vibes, meditative melodies, and a sun-kissed style that conjures up dreams of lazy days relaxing under a full sun, it’s a single that is effortlessly evocative and instantly immersive.
Available now on Spotify, as well as on our best of 2021 playlist, ‘Which Way To Go’ is a stellar introduction to Liam as both an artist and a performer, capturing his heart, soul, and many talents with a crisp and unwavering sense of clarity.
Along with the new single, Liam has also revealed the full five-track EP, which is available now on all major streaming platforms.
