Your new favourite pop artist from Sweden, Namelle has been creating a gorgeous neo-pop sound throughout the last four years, dating back to 2018 when she made her debut with the stunning ‘Got No Time’. Since then, she’s continued to impress fans and critics alike, developing her sound and building her audience with ease.
Today, we’re shining a spotlight on one of Namelle’s most expressive and enjoyable new singles, the brilliant ‘Goodbye Boy’. A single that is all about saying goodbye to a bad ex, the track sees Namelle reminisce about a relationship, one that she ultimately decides she needs to end because of her toxic partner. In true form, the single stays fast-paced and has a slight build throughout the song that helps keep it an upbeat number. Although the subject matter is a little heavier, the song is a catchy electro-pop song that listeners will love.
Opening with a catchy electro beat and smooth vocals, ‘Goodbye Boy’ revels in a standout bridge, where Namelle breaks from her steady fierce vocals and showcases a gorgeous falsetto tone. It’s a gorgeous moment, built around a simple, but effective refrain.
Available now on all major platforms, and as part of our annual Spotify playlist, ‘Sounds of 2022’, where it’s streaming alongside a host of other impressive artists from the year so far.
