Cornish singer-songwriter Nathan Ball returns with a captivating new single, 'Stateline', showcasing his natural, easy presence and ability to evoke universal emotions. Written on tour in Australia, the song captures the spirit of life on the road, drawing inspiration from long dusty roads, new faces, and new spaces.
"It's a coming-of-age love song about dreaming your life away and the innocent beauty of young love, only to be brought back down to earth and all its reality," Ball confides.
'Stateline' glows with warmth, as jangly guitars and driving percussion create an all-encompassing atmosphere, layered with emotion-fuelled lyrics that tug at your heartstrings. The new single is the first single from Ball's upcoming EP, Lost Track of Time, released under his new partnership with V2 Records. Based in Cornwall, the outdoors serves as a huge catalyst for Ball's music. "It’s where I write best; by the sea, in the mountains, in the woods. I love being totally immersed in nature so naturally those themes find their way into the music," he shares.

He draws inspiration from left-field house music, citing its euphoric yet melancholic nature as a driving force.
