A talented singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Niko Jet first rose to prominence with his bands The Bad Thoughts and Satan’s Songbirds, but recently, he's struck out on his own, fulfilling his solo ambitions with the release of new single 'Way Back Home'.
Following the release of his 2022 album 'Light', the new single sees Niko continuing to explore country-rock roots, delivering into a timeless Americana and nuanced folk tones that crest over a brilliant, rustic melody. Pushed along by tempered acoustic guitar and rich baritone vocals, 'Way Back Home' it's a single that perfectly sound and substance, with each note layering an evocative foundation for Niko's heartfelt lyrics.
Released last November, the single has continued to find new fans over the months, building up an impressive legacy of amost 6,000 streams on Spotify alone. The single is also an impressive glimpse into Niko's upcoming EP, which is set to be released in the next few months.
Through Niko's solo work and time within The Bad Thoughts and Satan’s Songbirds, he's created a wonderfuly diverse sound, covering a wide range of styles including rock, gypsy, swing, folk, punk, hip hop, reggae, bluegrass and jazz.
