Empowered by his belief that everyone has their own unique talents, Nobo has spent years refining his own musical abilities, channelling his heart, mind, and soul into his wild creative journey. After years of hard work and transformation, Nobo has shared his triumphant three-track EP, ‘The Best Way to Be Free’, an enchanting project that has been a dream come true.
Taking his moniker from a nickname earned as a child, Nobo first began making music in school, forming a rock band with his friends and first igniting a creative flame that has burnt until this day. Speaking about his first unsteady steps towards music, Nobo explained, “For many years I had a love – hate relationship with music. An unhealthy ambition undermined my authentic expression. For many years my focus was fixated on my person and not on my music.”
A highly spiritual soul, Nobo experienced a fundamental awakening after many years of meditation, and event that shaped his music explicitly. As he openly explained, “I recognized myself as a nobody, as a pure soul. I realized that self-realization isn’t about being famous or respected. It’s about being a nobody. From here on out, it was all about the music.” It’s this freedom and influence that has helped make the new EP and reality, with every track shining with an air of acceptance and understanding. Musically, it’s a release that is universal and wonderfully relevant, capturing a timeless sound that is bolstered beautifully by heartfelt songwriting and a deep, almost intimate connection that is built on Nobo’s feelings, inspirations, and aspirations.
