After a hugely successful year in 2022, which included a sold-out show at The Gasometer in Melbourne, along with the release of a cracking new album, singer-songwriter Parmy Dhillon is returning with a brilliant new single and a very special tour announcement.
Titled ‘New Forever’, the latest single is another heartfelt dose of Parmy’s authentic and wonderfully captivating style. Influenced by the likes of Tom Petty and Blind Melon, as well as social commentators like Dylan and Neil Young, Parmy’s music has always found a space between nostalgic, familiar, and comforting without feeling stale or tired.
In true form, each song presents a fresh take on an old tradition, and with the new single he strikes hard upon a sweet country and Americana twang, stitching it together with his typically heartfelt lyrics, and touching artistic sentiment.
Available now, the single comes just in time for Parmy’s new tour, which covers New South Wales, the ACT, and Victoria throughout April, May, and June. The shows all incorporate the new single, along with plenty of Parmy’s original recordings from previous years. The shows also help celebrate the launch of Parmy’s own clothing label, Totorious Clothing, which we’ll be hearing more from soon.
