Prince Lit - ‘Alignment’

A rising star who has overcome the struggles of the foster care system, homelessness, and the harsh realities of the modern world, Prince Lit has worked harder than most to make his dream of performing music a reality. From selling his Mother’s poetry for food, to becoming one of rap’s most promising new talents, Prince Lit has continued to make his mark with the release of new single ‘Alignment’.

After ageing out of the foster care system at eighteen, Prinjastin, AKA Prince Lit, found himself out on the street. Although homeless and alone on the streets of Denver, Prinjastin never lost his passion for performing poetry. Eventually, he found a program called Art From Ashes, and with their support, he began working hard to reclaim his life. Since then, Prinjastin has continued to overcome every obstacle in his way, receiving a housing voucher through the Family Unification Program, finding stability and a job, with a paid internship as an administrative assistant at the Supreme Court building downtown for the Office of Child Representative.

Through his hard work, Prinjastin went from success to success, proving that he is a truly inspiring and articulate young man who is destined to follow his dreams of being a recording artist. After releasing his first single ‘Money and Trees’ in 2016, Prinjastin has continued to grow as an artist, recording in some iconic locations like KMG Studios and Decibel Garden Studios, as well as actively recording with D.J Kush in Denver, Colorado recording studios.

Determined to share a new sound with the world, Prinjastin’s latest single is a testament to his style and sound. Titled ‘Alignment’, it’s a song that the artist says is all about Jesus, and how “the Lord works all things out for the Good of those who Love him.” Speaking more about the single, Prinjastin continued, “in those times he moves the heavens and earth and all that is in the universe just to get to us. I find him to always have perfect alignment.”

“I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.”

A unique and powerful artist, Prinjastin is destined to make his mark. For more of his music and poetry, be sure to follow him on Spotify and his socials below.
