Singer/songwriter Sam Alesandri releases her new song, 'Teenage Mom & Dad', available now. Her first song to release with independent music management company, good company creations.
Sam has been performing 'Teenage Mom & Dad' live as part of her set ever since she wrote it just over two years ago. One of her TikTok videos received a comment that inspired the creative masterpiece. With inspirations drawn from Jordy Searcy’s, 'Love & War in Your Twenties' and a bit of research to find just the right producer, Sam connected with Daniel McCurdy. He was not only able to master that, but also able to encapsulate Sam’s style as an artist perfectly.
The meaning of the song and the timing of its release, originally just before Father’s Day, is relatable for anyone who wonders what it would have been like to know their parents as teenagers. Who does not wonder if their parents used to do all the stupid things, they tell us not to do when they were our age?
Ohio’s Sam Alesandri began her career as a 10-year-old, singing to small crowds at karaoke night. Since then, she has released two singles, a cover of Eminem’s, 'Lose Yourself' and an original, 'I Like You, You’re Different'.
Her cover of 'Lose Yourself' went viral on TikTok and recently reached over 1M streams via Spotify. Just this past February, Sam opened for Carol Ades who completed a sold-out tour opening for Lizzy McAlpine in the fall 2022.
As an artist on the rise, Sam continuously pursues music and will be releasing more original songs in the near future.
